WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?
Life groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord. Life groups at Lighthouse Family Church are places where you can connect with people who share your interests, people who are at a similar stage in life, or people who have expertise in an area where you would like coaching.
WHY LIFE GROUPS?
In times of need and times of fun, LFC life groups are your source of friendship and support.
In the book of Acts, we read, "Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ." - Acts 5:42. Life groups were vital to the church's growth then, and they are just as vital now.
WHAT ARE THE GROUPS ABOUT?
Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join with them in serving God. Whatever your age or interest—Bible study, cooking, prayer, missions, running, you name it—we've got a group that's just right for you, and they meet all over the city. Children and youth meet in groups that address their needs for fun and friends. The life groups offered reflect the people at Lighthouse Family Church, and continue to change and develop with the interests and needs of the people.
WHEN CAN I JOIN ONE?
New groups start three semesters each year: spring, summer, and fall. Most groups are open to new members throughout the semester. Find a group, contact the leader, and get going!
WHERE DO THEY MEET?
LFC life groups meet in various locations throughout the Lafayette area. Most small groups meet in homes, although there are several that meet at area businesses, parks, and restaurants. v
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
LFC life groups are open to everyone in the community.
WHEN DO THEY MEET?
LFC life groups meet at various times each week. There are groups meeting in the daytime as well as in the evenings.
